At Kenimer & Knox Mechanical, we deliver expert HVAC mechanical construction solutions across the Southeast. Advanced CAD/BIM &
Lifecycle Tracking

Backed by comprehensive in-house CAD/BIM capabilities and fully integrated with Stratus software, we provide end-to-end visibility. Every component is meticulously tracked from initial spooling through the fabrication process and straight to final installation.

High-Volume Throughput

Featuring (7) dedicated welding booths and (3) specialized fitting stations, our layout enables simultaneous, high-volume production while maintaining stringent quality control at every step.

Rigorous QA/QC Standards

Led by our full-time, on-staff Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), our comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control program ensures that every spool undergoes strict inspection and exactly meets all project specifications before it ever leaves the floor.

Comprehensive Structural Support

A dedicated steel support booth specifically equipped for the fabrication of hangers, supports, skids, and miscellaneous metals, providing a complete, turnkey solution for your piping infrastructure.

Precision Technology

Outfitted with an advanced CNC machine to guarantee exacting tolerances, accurate cuts, and perfectly repeatable quality across all carbon steel components.

Material Handling

Built to handle pipe spools and materials with ease, the shop utilizes (3) interior overhead cranes with (2) bridges per crane and (1) robust exterior crane for seamless, safe loading, assembly, and maneuvering.

Stainless Steel Facility

This 20,000-square-foot stainless steel pipe fabrication facility is fully equipped for sanitary and industrial process piping, providing an integrated workflow from raw prep to final chemical treatment.

Facility & Material Handling

Dedicated standalone stainless shop configured to streamline pipe spool routing from fit-up to testing.

Overhead Crane for safe and efficient handling of heavy-wall pipe and pre-fabricated spools across the shop bay.

Welding & Fabrication Capacity

7 Manual TIG Booths
Dedicated stations for custom fittings, complex geometries, critical root passes, and high-detail manual fabrication.

4 Pulse Welding Booths
Advanced GMAW/FCAW stations designed to minimize heat input, prevent distortion, and accelerate deposition rates on heavier stainless pipe schedules.

3 Orbital Welding Stations
Fully automated, closed- and open-head systems for repeatable welds

Finishing & Quality Control

Dedicated Passivation Room
In-house chemical pickling and passivation bay that restores the passive chromium-oxide layer while isolating fumes and chemistry from the main fab floor.
